Pregnancy test getting lighter

Tests get lighter in the event of a chemical pregnancy. Basically the embryo implants but then just doesn’t stick/grow and the hormones drop. Chemical pregnancies usually resolve within a week or so of the missed period, so people who aren’t monitoring closely for pregnancy may never even know they happened.
