Jan 20, 2019 · This is my first Kimber and for the $ it’s a good buy. Fit and finish are good and I actually like the front sight on this GFO model. I shot some 200gr hard cast from Underwood and some 200xtp underwood with 0 issues.

It is awesome and I’ve caught a 10mm bug. I’ve been looking at the Kimber Super Jagare and it has the smoothest lines and fills the bill for 1911 awesomeness. But… my buds are saying I should consider the Sig Legion. I think you need to watch out for Idiot Scratches to the frame as they will show more than other 1911's. You also have to watch the area aft of the ejection port for brass/copper marks, which can be removed with Hoppe's #9.
