Historic Downtown Hanapepe seems to intentionally try to preserve its somewhat run down historic past. Having visited Kauai several times, we had never been to the Friday Night Art Walk. We were very pleased with the quality and variety of art studios/stores and artists.Gallery owners are friendly, prices are reasonable and food trucks abound. Our only regret was not bringing a bottle of wine to enjoy at the Hanapepe Cafe that's only open on Friday nights.
