Most folks don't have problems with sensitivity after a year+ of healing. In my case, my ears are still decently sensitive after 5+ years. I can't wear hats unless they're very loose, I have to also be picky on glasses, if they're too heavy or thick, my ears will get sore. Laying on my ears has to be done very carefully and not on anything hard.
