The Caribbean Students Association's mission is to foster a sense of unity and understanding among students of Caribbean descent, those interested in Caribbean culture, the Columbia community, and the surrounding Manhattan community. We do so by sponsoring educational, cultural, and social activities throughout the academic year. Eagerly, students of all backgrounds and ethnicities came together to form one big community. For the past five years, the Caribbean Student Association has been active on campus by spreading awareness of Caribbean culture and inviting those in their path to join the family. We stand by the motto of; "Separated by water, but united by culture." Approximately 1 out of 6 scholarships are exclusively for students from Central America and the Caribbean.
